Good point
-close to sdsu, the apartment is quite spacious, they react really quickly to the repair request. The repairman visits my unit next day. The sushi place on the first floor of paseo place is really delicious with good price. The street is quiet.
Bad point
-What a party apartment. There isn’t any 24/7 manager so many units throw parties a lot. So noisy and they make common place dirty. But nobody gives warning to the party people.
-They don’t reply to the email well. To international students, after they go back to their country, the easiest way to communicate is through email but they don’t reply to the email.
-The people in subleasing office change their words really frequently. Also they don’t have any responsibility about their words. I wanted to end the contract between the period so I visited Paseo place on September but they said I don’t need to do it rn and come back at the end of October or November. But when I visited again on November, I was 8th place of waiting list and only 2 people got people who take over their contract. I’m still struggling with looking for person who wants to take over even though I came back to my country.
(I don’t know how much they get paid but they should be more professional and work harder.)
-The fee to end the contract is too expensive. It’s 950$. I’ve heard that other housing is much cheaper.
I took a tour here and really liked the property! Super convenient location, close and central to campus. Natalie was very knowledgeable about the property and answered all my questions.
Great place to live right next to campus. Amazing staff that are always super helpful! Ayden and Dean always help me out so big shout out to the both of them.
As a current resident of Paseo Place, I am excited to say that I am renewing my lease for another year. The location of the building is so convenient to get to all of my classes and commitments at SDSU. Our apartment is so nice and the staff are very kind. Overall, Paseo Place is a great place to live!
Do not move here. The management does not do anything to respond to major issues. In the two months that I have lived here, there has been termites, hot water turned off about once a week with no warning or explanation, and rude staff. Rent is way overpriced for the quality of living.
Just wanted to say what a great National Strategy Manager Klaus
Geistert was and how he was so supportive of our needs to make our daughters college experience the best it could be for the coming year. Also, thanks to Klaus she can now reside with all her new roomates that she was hoping to be with next year.
GREATLY APPRECIATED !
We haven’t had hot water since Friday night, it is Monday and they have yet to do anything about it. We were sent a pathetic email after 2 days with no hot water where management just beat around the bush. We didn’t have hot water for 3 days earlier this month. I have been here since mid august and by the end of October we have already had maintenance here over 5 times. There is one maintenance guy here, he is so nice and helpful, but this place is run terribly. When I have called they are unhelpful and don’t know what is going on. Do not live here.
Moved in this August and dishwasher was already broken. Maintenance guy visited and didn’t know why it wouldn’t work, so he handed me a manual and then told us to wait two weeks for someone from Lowe’s to come and look at it. Lowe’s guy did not know why it wasn’t working either so he just ordered us a new one, thinking it was a bad motor. My roommates and I told him we thought it was something with the water pipes because it was turning on just not filling with water, but we were dismissed since he had been doing dishwasher repairs for ‘26’ years. Once the new one was installed, it again, didn’t fill with water. At this point, I knew calling maintenance would be a waste of everyone’s time, so I called my dad, who owns Carter Electric, and my roommate and I crawled under the sink and found the water valve leading to the dishwasher, loosened it, and fixed the dishwasher problem with his help. Probably would’ve been faster if I did that to begin with.
